A dental bridge is a non-removable appliance which is one way that dentists can replace missing teeth. Dental bridges can last many years, but may also need to be replaced or re-cemented due to everyday use.

What can I expect after my dental bridges appointment?

The team at Brooklyn Dental Centre will provide you with detailed care instructions for your bridge after the procedure. You will be given instruction on proper brushing and flossing techniques around your dental bridge.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a covering that covers your entire tooth, restoring it to its original shape, size and function.

When fillings or other types of restorative work do not provide enough support to restore your tooth, dental crowns can give the strength and structure required for a healthy smile.

What are some reasons I may need a dental crown?

• If you have a broken or fractured tooth (or teeth)
• If you would like cosmetic dental enhancement
• If you have decayed teeth
• If you have fractured or large fillings

What can I expect during my appointment?

During your first crown appointment, the team at Brooklyn Dental Centre will take impressions of your tooth and send the impressions to the lab.

The dental lab will then create your custom crown.

While the crown is being made, your dentist will make sure that your tooth is ready for placement of the dental crown.

It will need to be prepared by removing any decay and shaping the surface to fit the crown.

You will be given instructions for care and a member of our friendly team will book a follow-up appointment after the procedure is complete.
